Wow. I just watched Moulin Rouge. What an assault on the senses. Almost all 5 of them. Actually, yeah, make it five. I could almost taste the show. Uh huh. Not in a long time, I've left a cinema with my heart pounding like this.
I _need_ to get the soundtrack. I have a morbid need to hear that sick version of Like a Virgin all over again. (:
The way the songs were used to portray the mood of the show was absolutely incredible. Mercury's The Show must Go On was absolutely breathtaking.
But then so was Nicole Kidman. Why on earth did Tom Cruise divorce her for???
(I need to edit my 'list of shows to see this year'.) If there are three shows you are going to watch this year, make it Shrek, Memento, and definately, Moulin Rouge.
