The Nohon-Zoku (Nohohon Family) comprises of two main lines, Hidamari No Tami (Sunny People) and Hanauta no Tami (Humming People).
Hidamari No Tami - Sunny People Tomy
This oh-so-cute toy has a gently bobbing head, left to right, slowly lulling you to destress and into peace. It serves as a little table ornament, with a slot for a small message card. Its mechanism is totally silent, and absolutely addictive to look at. It runs on solar power.
This is the one I just bought. Its a pastel pink. With a beatific smile on its head, the pink Nohohon's head sways from left to right, slowly and calmly, sending you into a serene mood. The little green baby Nohohon at the side leans against the pink Nohohon, little hands folded happily on its chest, smiling happily.
This is a candy yellow version. Smiling calmly, the yellow Nohohon sways slowly from side to side. Looking at it, you cannot help but smile and sway your head along with it. The little green baby Nohohon rolls on its back, smiling happily as it lies beside the yellow Nohohon.
Mmm...Baby Blue so peaceful, so calming. The blue Nohohon smiles serenely, as its head sways slowly from right to left, to right, to left, to right, to left, to right.....The little green baby Nohohon hugs the blue Nohohon with its little arms, smiling contentedly to itself.
The juicy orange Nohohon smiles, happy as a clam as it fishes quietly by a lake. Its head bobs slowly back and forth, making you want to just throw everything away, grab a pole and head towards the nearest pond. The little blue baby Nohohon lies on its tummy, looking curiously into the water, smiling happily to itself.
Fishing quietly by a peaceful pond, a plump strawberry Nohohon sits with its head bobbing back and forth hypnotically. A little yellow baby Nohohon swims happily next to the strawberry Nohohon, splashing your cares away.Hanauta no Tami - Humming people Tomy
These are battery powered, and they sing! There are 6 different Nohohons out and each of them sings a different song. You can connect them to each other with little wires and they sing together in harmony! Strangely pleasing, the songs aim to destress. Connect the Nohohons differently and you get different songs!
