2nd day of the Lunar New Year, so its a public holiday today! The past two days have been spent ...sleeping... ...eating... ...sleeping... ...eating... ...eating... Two more days till I need to go back to work, I'm really missing work.

At the end of the month, I'm off to Bangkok! Still pretty much as scheduled.

What I've learnt from my last trip.

1. Keep to ONE bag of toiletries and make-up. No one needs 2 different toners and 3 types of moisturizers. I don't know what I was thinking about when I packed 4 different eye colour palettes and 3 different lipsticks. Next time, I'm sticking to ONE colour.

2. Forget matching coats and such. 1 top + 1 skirt/pants per day. Its not like I have time to dress up and go out much during the week.

3. Too many sets of clothes to lounge about in. From now on, just 1 set of pyjamas. For the WHOLE trip! It'll work, I don't wear anything to sleep anyway.

4. For my reading needs, bring books I know I don't want to keep. Ah yes. I have stack loads of old novels I've not read. Read 'em and leave 'em!

5. Think of a way to reduce the number of chargers I need to bring. Right now, I need to lug along the following:
a. laptop charger
b. phone charger (for the sony-ericsson phone)
c. phone charger (for the nokia phone)
d. battery charger (for the camera)

6. Think of a way to reduce the number of cables I need to bring. Right now, I am dragging the following around:
a. cd-rom drive cable
b. iPod cable

7. Cut down on accessories. I probably do not need different rings (one for each hand!) and earrings (4..) for each outfit. But then I do like my rings...

8. Wear the heavy boots, and pack the strappy heels!

9. Forget about bringing different bags for different occasions. I stupidly brought (count em) 5 bags with me! One to go shopping with, one to go partying with, one to go work with, one hand carry bag and one suitcase.

Damn, that's cold.

I can't get my damn wireless internet to work with my computer, so I'm stuck tapping away at the hotel's computer at the lobby.

Today's the third day here in freezing London, and I just spent the whole day in a conference room trying to look intelligent.

Erm.. trying.

I'm frantically doing all my KOL moves, and being away from the internet for 4 days only means HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of free moves.

Note to self: I'm staying at the Citadines, Trafalgar Square. Ask for rooms that end with _15. I was in a _15 room, and compared to all the other rooms, this one is HUGE! All suites come with a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, a shower/bathtub room, and a bed room. _15 rooms are more spacious with ample space for your whole village to move in with you.
