Crisis on Infinite Earths

In 1985, DC Comics produced a fantastic 12 issue comic book which crossed over a dozen titles.

Of course, this series was just an excuse to clean up the mess they DC world called 'Multiverse'. And it also killed off a whole bunch of superheroes along the way, streamlining the DC stables.

I never got to read the complete series when it first came out, but thanks to this graphic novel. I can, now!

Toilets. Tales of DESPAIR in Singapore

This is a public toilet on the second floor of Tampines Mall, Singapore.

The woman at the sink in the first picture is carrying her daughter in her arms.

She is cleaning up her daughter's toilety mess at the sink.

That's right, gentle readers. AT the sink.

Oh, by the way, there is a well equipped baby changing room just less than 3 meters away.

Very obviously marked, beautifully furnished, and designed exactly for such events.

Tsk.

In other news, are you a boring person?
Do you consider yourself interesting?
Do you think other people like being around you?

A Quick Check

1. I have a hobby. (shopping and watching TV are not hobbies)
2. I can talk about my hobby. (p0rn surfing is not a hobby)
3. I have a political view. (Shrugging non-committedly is not 'cool')
4. I return smiles. (A polite response to a stranger's smile)
5. I do not stare, with mouth agape, when asked 'How's it going?' (Sigh)
6. I acknowledge with a smile, a nod or verbally, when someone apologizes to me.
