Second time I had to run out of my room wearing only my bathrobe and erm, fluffy slippers.
Both times IN Wellington!
Was rudely woken up by the jaring fire alarm at 12.10pm. SUNDAY, ugh.
Grabbed my handbag and NDS and ran out of the door. Then realised I had no idea where the fire exits were.
Stumbled around in a panic, followed the hoardes of evacuees and found the smelly fire escape stairs.
So here I am, huddled by the side of the hotel, freezing. When not feeling sorry for myself, looking at handsome firemen do their stuff.
Man, I wished a grabbed a bottle of water on the way out. I'm parched.
Hey, on the other hand, it is lunchtime!
Note to self: Next time grab my coat too!
